Goal: Bring music to people’s lives and every city, town, and village corner.

We started out with the idea of “traveling with music”. We wanted people to experience music outside of opera houses and theaters because we know many people love music but might not want to visit those places. We wanted people to discover music on the move, to enjoy it in their own way instead of sitting stiffly in a chair.

This was a refreshing attempt. It was shaping up to be a beautiful journey, but a deeper look into different venues and parts of the plan revealed that it’s not as easy as it seemed.

🐥Thoughts
With the venue as a starting point, we began thinking about the wider artistic environment and selecting suitable instruments. We considered possible musical environments, and whether they would be better suited to a music recital, music class, or charity benefit.

Then we had to consider the positions of performers and their instruments, their costumes, the location of the audience, the audience’s stamina, the position of the sun, how to arrange the order of things… Every decision would affect the participants’ sensory experience and influence the success of the project.

👑Influence
This was a refreshing experience. Participants can discover the beautiful sound of a quartet as they move through the space. They all found the experience very rewarding. We brought music to more corners of the world.
