Recently, we completed a partial wall replacement project for Kaohsiung Museum of Labor’s “Beads of Sweat” exhibition. This project was a collaboration with Maker-O2LaB, featuring mechanism design principles that were done entirely by hand. We modified our design several times before settling on a method of changing images using a fixed axis of rotation, allowing viewers to see different aspects of labor. With just a pull of a lever, audiences can easily see and understand the hard work of different laborers.
Laborers are integral to a functional society, so it is vital for everyone to pay attention to labor issues. Visit the Kaohsiung Museum of Labor to learn more.
